A Blue Kind of Acid

A blue kind of acid,

poured on the rose bush that

moves to silence and sways to sin.

Why is this bruise hanging off its back?

A blue kind of acid,

poured on the koi that swims around

limited only to what they know.

Do they deserve more than their

fate?

A blue kind of acid,

poured on the girl that now does the same things alone,

unfortunately

without enough time to think clearly.

Is this the life?

A blue kind of acid,

poured on the hill that knows not how to sleep.

Someone’s made the jump,

it’s tried to make it too.

Will the grass first green or brown?

A blue kind of acid,

poured on the sleeping stops.

The trains both start to depart 3 minutes apart,

and they’ve both been missed.

Where does it end?
