It Takes a Small Hand Much
Could it be that if I kiss the earth, you can feel it?
Though, I know those feet would never touch the ground
You’re hurt to ask if I can reach more than skin
And I admit,
Only what touches these hands can fill them
If I could claim flesh while it’s worn
I’d steal your arms, legs and horse
Then would amputate the voice
If I could
What shape would you be when you fall back to earth?
With a stake through your hands
And your waist by your nose
Will you still help me to applaud?
