Home
To the pair that have it all, kiss; you have chosen more
Like me, don’t hesitate to plead if in meaning you peel,
And the reason is real, because,
When it began to overwhelm, I secured an excuse to go
It was a lot to love; I couldn’t make it home
A year’s elapsed, and there’s no give;
I’m learning how to be alone
Was the hand I’d hold covered in mould,
Or am I just made from water?
So split our share and throw the owner,
I’ll move beside and be my neighbour
But when I am, only for you,
I can’t make it home
